Hi! I'm Rica Ruiz.
I'm a full-time, practicing real estate broker who is uniquely adept at helping agents bring order to the chaos of their businesses, especially through Process Management and CRM.
Work With Me"Thanks to Rica, I'm definitely moving in the right direction. I have tried coaching before and I was not thrilled with the results. Yet I was stuck in my business and clearly I needed some help. I was skeptical before our first meeting, but Rica turned out to be very warm, knowledgeable, unbelievably organized, and willing to share her expertise and help me in any way I needed."

"Rica has been very helpful in pushing me forward in multiple aspects of my business. She has helped me get my CRM organized, get strategic about time blocking and daily work as well as client engagement activities such as client event planning for the year. I am grateful for Rica's expertise and perspective and would recommend her to anyone looking to grow their business."

"As soon as it was announced that Rica was going to be a coach for Performance Coaching, I signed up with her to help me reset my process for CRM, time blocking, and process management. I've never seen such a meticulous process. She doesn't leave anything to chance. I learned a lot from Rica and will continue to do so in the future. I highly recommend Rica to help you be accountable and grow your business in a methodical and efficient manner."

"I was an experienced team agent in a new market building a solo business for the first time, and I had no clue where to start. Rica was a wonderful guide in setting up the basic foundations of our new business. She advised on everything from what kind of corporate entity to form and how to pay ourselves, to effective uses of our time on a daily basis. She helped us establish processes for buyers and sellers, she held us accountable on our marketing plans and community outreach, she helped us role play through difficult conversations, and was also a positive voice of encouragement. We would definitely recommend her."

FAQ
What's your story?
I have over 15 years of experience as a real estate agent in the Bay Area. Over the course of my career, I've been through 5 real estate coaching programs and 11 different coaches, but none of the teachings resonated deeply until I found Performance Coaching. Focusing on the Six Building Blocks has brought a clarity and authenticity to my business that was missing before, and my goal as a coach is to help you achieve the same transformation.
What's the focus of your coaching?
I focus on helping you build systems and processes to bring order to your business, as well as developing a daily CRM routine that consistently nurtures relationships to maximize repeat and referral business. I coach the way I wish I had been coached, with advice that's tailored to your specific situation and goals. Week after week, I will be your biggest advocate, cheerleader, and accountability partner.
Who would be a great fit for your coaching?
I love working with agents who are new to the industry, as well as seasoned agents who want to run their businesses in a more organized and process-driven way.
Which of the 6 Building Blocks is your favorite?
I love CRM! It used to be a huge struggle for me, but once I developed a system that worked for me, I couldn't get enough. Working my CRM consistently has been the biggest game-changer for my business.
What are some books you recommend?
I read a lot, and here are the books that have impacted me the most:
- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
- Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
- The Power of Fun by Catherine Price
- The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
- Mindset by Carol Dweck
- Indistractable by Nir Eyal
- The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande
How do you like to spend your free time?
I love connecting people and helping others. I'm an Ambassador for the Danville Area and San Mateo Area Chambers of Commerce, and I'm Chairman of the Board for Generations United (GU), a non-profit organization that helps the under-resourced community in Redwood City. I also enjoy volunteering at Kids Against Hunger and GU, and I give 10% of my income to local and national non-profits including Fostering Wishes, St. Jude's, Mission Church and K-Love. My favorite pastime, however, is hanging out with my husband, Rob, and watching my son play guitar and run track.
